Tyson Smith was intending to devote his entire life to the creation of a giant robot he called MEGATOR that would protect the Earth from space monsters. Due to a rather large shortage of funding for the project, however, he chose instead to spend the majority of his time illustrating. Ever since achieving a BA in Graphic Design from Portland State University (where he won PRINT Magazine’s annual International Student Cover Design competition), Tyson has been illustrating for a plethora of magazines, newspapers, books, CDs, websites, corporate and advertising clients from around the globe. In addition, he illustrated and designed the nationally distributed comic book ODDJOB for six years, and followed that up with the release of the graphic novel EMILY AND THE INTERGALACTIC LEMONADE STAND. Not to be confined to the world of static pictures, Tyson also directed two feature films, THE SEXY CHEF and MONDAY NIGHT GIG. His secret superpower gives him the ability to always select the correct size of Tupperware for any amount of leftovers.
